Michael Bolton is speaking out after fans sounded the alarm about police cars spotted at his Connecticut home.
"Something with several police cars is happening at Michael Bolton's house here in Westport CT. I hope he is all right," one fan tweeted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
But the music legend, 71, responded personally on the social platform that "all is good!! Just prepping for a small landscape project," he wrote alongside a grinning emoji. "Thanks for checking!"
USA TODAY has reached out to Bolton's rep for comment.
The X update comes amid a slower professional year for Bolton. The singer, who had a busy 2023, celebrated 50 years in the music industry last year.

Last July, he released his first new album of original songs in 14 years, "Spark of Light," and followed it up with a holiday album, "Christmas Time."
But in January, Bolton announced he was taking a step back from touring this year as he recovers from surgery to remove a brain tumor.
Michael Bolton reveals he's recoveringfrom a successful brain tumor removal
"Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery. Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success," he shared in a social media post at the time.
He continued: "I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family. For the next couple of months, I will be devoting my time and energy to my recovery which means I’ll have to take a temporary break from touring," adding that it's hard for him to disappoint fans.
The "When a Man Loves a Woman" singer said it "is always the hardest thing for me to ever disappoint my fans or postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon."
