Group play at the 2023 World Cup is over, which means it is time for do-or-die in the knockout rounds.
There were quite a few surprises during group play, from the USWNT looking lackluster and overmatched in two games to Japan’s dominance of Group C to Norway’s puzzling, inconsistent play, and Germany's shocking exit while Colombia and Morocco took Group H. Injuries have also taken a toll on nearly every team.
But the Round of 16 is here, and a champion will be crowned on Aug. 20. Following the bracket, especially as group standings shake out, can be confusing, so here's a full schedule in list form to help keep track of all the matches (and adjust your sleep schedule accordingly).
Quick reminder: The USWNT finished second in Group E, meaning the Americans take on familiar foe Sweden on Sunday at 5 a.m. ET. Because they finished second (Netherlands finished first), they’ll be playing most of their games in the middle of the night for everyone watching from the States — stocking up on coffee will be essential.
