Something has to give.
The Bruins, up 3-2, will try again to wrap up their first-round series against the Maple Leafs on Thursday night in Toronto. Boston lost 2-1 in overtime at home in Game 5.
“I’m still pissed off from (Tuesday) night, to be honest," Bruins coach Jim Montgomery told reporters on Wednesday. "I don’t understand or accept our play from (Tuesday) night. So I’m gonna be pissed off until puck drop (Thursday) night.”

Bruins vs. Maple Leafs: What to know
The Maple Leafs gave goalie Joseph Woll his first start of the series in Game 5 and he responded with a 27-save victory. Leading goal scorer Auston Matthews (illness) missed the game. He skated on Wednesday, but coach Sheldon Keefe had no update on his availability for Game 6.
The Maple Leafs will be looking to win at home for the first time since Game 2 of the first round last season.
"We have to accept and recognize there’s only one way to win and play in the playoffs and that’s the way we played (Tuesday) night," he told reporters. "That’s the approach, no matter what the venue is, that’s how you need to play. That’s what required."
The Bruins' record-setting 2022-23 season ended in disappointment when it blew a 3-1 series lead against the Florida Panthers. Montgomery said the Bruins will need to play better in Game 6 than they did Tuesday.
"I don’t think we did good enough staying in the moment (Tuesday) night," he said. "That’s what we’re looking for next game."
